HISTORY
A 2020 special brew. During lockdown head brewer Phill decided to revisit our flagship bitter Landmark's recipe. Phill wanted to make a new variation that focused on the bitterness created from Crystal malts.
By adding more Crystal malt and increasing the ABV slightly Phill has produced Crossroad - a premium bitter, darker, more bitter and with even more body than its cousin Landmark.
The label includes a detail close up of the Maen Achwyfan cross in nearby Holywell. A 10th or 11th Century monument it is the tallest Wheel Cross in the UK.
